Georgia Newcomb
Georgia Newcomb is an experienced real estate professional working in the greater New Haven region, central Middlesex County and in Connecticut's enchanting shoreline communities. With a record of dedicated service, she has become the go-to expert for those seeking to buy or sell properties in this thriving part of our state. Working in real estate over the last 23 years, Georgia has helped hundreds of sellers and buyers successfully navigate the ever changing and sometimes confusing real estate market. Georgia works to draw together the best available resources to provide a positive “win-win” outcome for whatever challenge/event/transaction is in front of her.
She finds it especially gratifying having repeat clients and many personal referrals. It is a strong vote of confidence in her professional representation. She likes to bring a certain creativity to the world of real estate and is always interested in new ideas, different marketing approaches and better means of communication. In particular, she has worked with many buyers transitioning from larger, family-centered designed homes to their next best step. There is a lot involved in helping someone move out of a long-term home, make decisions about decades of accumulated belongings and have them feel excited about the next step. Her accessibility, empathy and vast knowledge of the details involved in a real estate transition make her a trusted advisor to clients.
What distinguishes Georgia is her commitment to personalized service. She takes the time to understand each client's unique needs and aspirations, ensuring that every transaction aligns with their goals. Her reputation for delivering exceptional customer service is a testament to her professionalism and integrity. Georgia's expertise in negotiation, combined with her extensive network, consistently secures the best deals for her clients in this competitive market. Her attention to detail and community involvement further strengthen her standing in the communities she serves.
Georgia has lived in the New Haven area since 1983. Twice in the East Rock neighborhood - first as a graduate student, later in a home she and her husband renovated on Loomis Place - and for a number of years in Westville. She now calls a wonderful ‘50’s neighborhood in North Haven home.
Before real estate she was an economic development consultant and an entrepreneur, starting a take-out/catering business in the 80’s and selling it after ten years. Passions include cooking, metal sculpture and gardening. She has served on numerous non-profit boards over the past 40 years, particularly with Creative Arts Workshop and the Yale School of Management.
